Trophy Ridge React Pro – Contents
When I first heard of the Trophy Ridge React sights I was super excited because being new to archery, any advantage I could get when sighting in my bow I would certainly jump on. I bought the original Trophy Ridge React 5 pin bow sights and was super disappointed due to the fact that they’re made out of plastic and the mount for the quiver stripped out the first day I got them. I felt that it was awesome technology wrapped up in subpar material which was ultimately a waste of money so I switched them out for the Spot-Hogg Hunters.
One thing I did say in my video review of those sights is that I would pay a lot more money if they made their sights metal. Lucky for me, Trophy Ridge did just that. Introducing the Trophy Ridge React Pro 5 pin sight.
Unboxing The Trophy Ridge React Pro
Pulling the Trophy Ridge React Pro out of the box, it already felt so much more solid than the other React sights. Everything stays in place even if you take the sights and shake the hell out of them. Included and preinstalled also is the rheostat light on the side. All that’s included in the box are the sights (light with batteries installed) and two mounting screws. Everything else that you would need is written on the box.

How to Use The Trophy Ridge React Pro
Installation is easy; all you do is tighten down the two screws and you’re set. The Trophy Ridge React Pro sights are unique in that they use Trophy Ridge’s Smart Pin technology which makes sighting in your bow a breeze.
The first pin you sight in is your 20 yard pin. To do this, you will be adjusting the windage so take a shot or two from 20 yards so you have a small group and once you do you can loosen the windage knob and turn it whichever direction necessary (up or down) and take a couple more shots – just like you would sight in any other sight.
Once your 20 yard pin is good to go, you can then go back to any other distance – in increments of 10 yards – that you want, for this we’ll say 40 yards. For this you will sight in using the large knob on top of the sights. Once you turn this knob you will notice that everything but your 20 yard pin will move. These sights will figure out where the rest of your pins should be based off of the two pins that you sight in. So in a few minutes you’ve sighted in 20 and 40 yards but you’ve really sighted in everything from 20 to 60 yards.
Now you’ve got everything sighted in, take a walk back to 60 yards and see how close it is. If you need to make adjustments at 60 it’s perfectly fine and it will only tighten up the other pins.
That is really it. The Trophy Ridge React Pro sights are extremely easy to use and very accurate.
Trophy Ridge React Pro – Overview
These sights are amazing and I’m so happy that Trophy Ridge finally put out an aluminum version of these sights. That plus the addition of 2nd and 3rd axis leveling make these sights badass – for lack of better words! I definitely said that I would spend a lot of money for this technology in an aluminum sight and luckily these weren’t extremely expensive. Will I be getting rid of the Spot-Hogg, hell no but they might be hanging out in the Pelican case for a little while while I get some use out of these sights.
Some other points I’d like to say are that there are two numbered knobs, one for windage and one for elevation. You loosen the set screws – no tools needed – and the knobs click at each stop. They’re really smooth and accurate but the only issue I could see out of them is they do produce a little bit of noise so you probably won’t want to adjust these in the presence of an animal.
I got these sights pretty much sighted in in a matter of about 8 minutes. Check out the video!
